Learn how to remove the auto fill-in feature on forms in Firefox.

Tired of Firefox saving your form data? Not a problem. It can be easily turned off.

To disable the auto form fill-in feature, click on the "Tools" menu in the menu bar at the top of your browser window and then select "Options"; if you're not using the menu bar, click on the "Firefox" button at the top-left corner, and then click on "Options".

A dialog titled "Options" will appear, so select the "Privacy" tab at the top of that dialog; in the "History" section you'll you can change the drop down next to "Firefox will" to "Use custom settings for history", and once you've done that you'll see a series of checkboxes to customize how Firefox will handle your history, including the option to remember search and form history ("Remember search and form history"); if you uncheck that option, Firefox will no longer offer the form auto fill-in values, so after that change, you can save the changes with the "OK" button at the bottom of the dialog.
