Learn how to open a file from your computer in Internet Explorer 7.
On older versions of Internet Explorer, opening files from your computer is as easy as going to the "File" menu, then selecting "Open".
Unfortunately, this menu is not present in newer versions, but you can still open files by pressing the "Ctrl" and "O" keys simultaneously, which will bring the "Open" dialog.
Once there, click the "Browse..." button to open a file picker, and then select the file you want to open; after that, just click the "OK" button, and it will open.
An alternative way is just to drag and drop the file over an open Internet Explorer window.
